What we keep, and what we never touch.

Last updated: September 24, 2026. MUQING (muqing-fate.pages.dev) is an independent Eastern-metaphysics studio and online shop. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Information you give us

We collect only what you submit yourself: birth date, time and place when you use the chart tools or request a reading; your name, contact details, wrist size and shipping address when you place an order; and the content of messages you send through the contact form or WhatsApp. We do not collect payment card details — payments are processed by our payment provider, which handles that data under its own policy.

Your birth data

Chart calculations run entirely in your browser — your birth details never leave your device for a standard chart. If you request a written reading or join the author queue, the details you submit are used only to prepare and deliver that reading. When a request is marked complete, its private details are removed and only a non-identifying completion record remains.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — pages visited, device type, approximate location, and events such as generating a chart, viewing a product or starting checkout. This data is aggregated and used only to improve the site. We do not send your birth details, chart contents, readings, or order contact details to analytics for profiling.

Advertising and cookies

We run advertising through Google Ads. Google and its partners may set cookies to measure ad performance and show relevant ads; they process device information, IP address and cookie identifiers according to their own policies and the consent choices available in your region. Where consent is required, non-essential advertising cookies load only after you accept. We do not share your birth details, chart contents, generated readings, or order contact details with advertising providers for personalisation. Your browser also stores small local items (interface preferences, unfinished form state) that never leave your device — clear your browser storage and they are gone.

How we use your information

To provide the chart tools and readings you request; to fulfil and support your orders; to reply to your messages; to measure and improve the site; and to run and measure advertising. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept as long as needed for fulfilment, support and tax records. Reading-queue entries are deleted when the request is completed. Analytics data is retained under Google Analytics' standard retention settings. You may ask us to delete your data sooner (see below).

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. To do so, contact us through the contact page or WhatsApp and describe your request — if it concerns a reading queue entry, quoting your queue number helps us find it quickly. We will respond within a reasonable time.

The nature of the readings

All readings on this site follow a cultural tradition of wisdom and self-reflection. They are entertainment and cultural content — not medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice, and they make no guarantees about the future. If you are facing decisions about health, money, or law, the right reader is a licensed professional, not a birth chart.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle data, we will update this page and the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be highlighted here before they take effect.
